I have become quite a fan of NI’s Maschine and use it in all my projects now so I was a little excited when they announced new hardware and software Maschine Studio.

I must say it looks impressive and has made Maschine into much more than a sampler and drum machine.

It looks much more like a full DAW now. Great if you don’t already have a DAW and are just starting out but I really cant see myself investing in this as the price seems high. When I say high I understand the pricing as its hardware and software but I just cant warrant it when I already own Logic and Cubase and use Maschine as a plug in. Maybe once I get my hands on the software I may change my mind, who knows.
