Well what a crazy time of ups and downs it has been over the last few months!

So its just over a week since the Brighter Days/Glitterbox party at the Junction Cambridge, WOW! We aimed to make this one special but I can honestly say it surparsed all our expectations. We had a queue of several hundred waiting out side a good half hour before we opened. We had planned to open the main room at 11pm but we got so busy so quick we where forced to open an hour earlier. The night was a huge success from the decor, lighting, sound, dancers, DJ’s and of course the YOU. We have an amazing team of people that help out and the event would not work without them so thanks to those people you know who you are!  So what next? We already have another date booked at the Junction so save the date April 6th 2019. We hope to bring you more of the magic and some surprises too. Now for something completely different (well not so much)

After many off the cuff conversations at several events over the last few years I decided with a gentle push to delve back into the realms of radio. It is with much excitement I can announce I have joined the Mi-Soul family and have my first radio show on Connoisseurs this Wednesday 28th November 7-9pm GMT. I will be playing new and classic soul music (my first love). I really hope you can tune in for what I hope will be the first of many shows for the station.

Snoopy Sounds

Over the last 4 weeks I have been listening to a show called Snoopy sounds presented by Andy Ward on the d3ep network. I feel the need to mention it as its a very special tribute to a dear friend Snoopy that sadly passed away. Andy acquired his record collection and is slowly working through it in the form of a tribute show. Its an incredible listen for those that knew Snoopy but even if you didn’t know him its still well worth tuning in. It brings his memory right to the front of my mind every time I tune in and that is something truly special in my book. Catch the show on Saturday mornings
